Use of outdoor facilities

(updated 09/06/2020)

  • General ad-hoc use of the ground is still not permitted.

  • Members may only use the ground if they make an advance booking and comply with the guidelines.

  • Please note that the pavilion(s), (including the toilets), will not be available - please go before you arrive for your booked session.

General advice

1. Following the changes in the Government's lock-down guidance on 1 June you can now exercise alone, with members of your household, or with up to, but no more than, 5 (five) other people from outside your household.

2. Gatherings of more than 6 (six) people are not permitted unless you are exercising exclusively with members of your household.

3. Social distancing of at least two metres must be maintained at all times (unless all participants are members of the same household).

4. The following advice still applies to everyone:
    1. Anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (temperature above 37.8C; a new persistent cough; breathing problems; a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell; or other symptoms identified by the Government) must stay at home and self-isolate in accordance with the Government guidance here.

    2. All members of the same household must do the same even if they do not display symptoms.

    3. Those with an underlying health condition which makes them 'clinically extremely vulnerable' and who have been advised to shield must follow specific UK Government advice - refer to current UK Government Guidance.

    4. People aged 70 and over are advised to minimise their contact with others outside of their household as per current UK Government guidance.

    5. Social distancing is key to minimising transmission of COVID-19, maintaining a distance of at least two metres between people still applies if individuals are not from the same household (see here).
